Hotel Akord - Free Parking & Metro Access - Sofia

Consider trying the seasonal garden restaurant for a pleasant dining experience away from the usual hustle.

I needed an overnight stay for the airport and Hotel Accord is Perfect for an Airport location only 15-20m Mins and 8 - 10 leva in a taxi. Rooms are large for a single traveler which is great and only 26 Euro! A Supermarket across the Car park of the hotel too. Continental breakfast great variety. Would stay here again 100%

Bad TV signal on Channels and Not even a news channel in english, So used the free wireless instead!

the restaurant was good with good menu here, i had excellent dishes. the bed was very comfy and there were central heating, a work desk and a flat-screen tv with cable channels.

My room had a comfy bed, but I struggled with the awful sewer odor.

Good quality and good price. Close to the airport Vrazhebna (some 10-15 minutes by taxi). Has the affordable parking place. Staff is friendly. Room (for 2) was big and spacy. Rather comfortable for this price. The hotel is a bit father from the city centre than I have expected, and if going by public transport you need to change once. Although it is possible to walk to the city centre if not tired and if time affords.

The breakfast is rather poor, although satisfying in total. Very cold juice :-) Would be nice to have a toaster as well.

wi-fi has poor signal strength - on 2nd floor I was almost unable to use internet, but it was ok at the restaurant & lobby. also, the breakfast included it room price was quite poor. also, we were unable to use hairdressing salon because hairdresser refused to deal with us (she didn't know any language except bulgarian). most unpleasing was that during check-out receptionist tried to charge us extra-cost for room-service

Very nice staff willing to help and a location that's conveniently near the metro. The air conditioning worked well.

your staff were most helpful and the food in the hotel was great for the evening meal. its very easy to access the city.

the hot water came out brown for the first thirty seconds every time you turned on the tap. also we had no water whatsoever on two occasions, the worst was at 4 in the morning when we wanted to shower before we left to travel home for the last day.

Cleanliness struck me first. The room felt fresh, although I had to deal with cigarette odors wafting in from elsewhere. I appreciated the location, just a stone's throw from the metro. The bed offered a comfortable sleep, setting me up well for the next day's adventures. I faced a few issues-the wardrobe door wouldn't close properly, and the water pressure in the shower was far from ideal. The breakfast choice was decent, with good coffee every morning, but it could use healthier options. A couple of times, the reception staff was a bit slow to respond. Given the price point, it's a fair deal, yet I wouldn't call it a luxurious stay.

Access to airport is good as is travel to city centre. reception was very good at getting us taxis.

The room was silent and huge with very comfy beds, cable TV, for example as expected. And the facilities were good. Central location of this low-budget hotel was a bonus: )

We chose the hotel accord because we were going to meet my daughters penpal who lived a few hundred yards from the hotel. it was comfortable, functional - the staff where frendly. We only had breakfast at the hotel because there was a pizza place just across the road hich was more practical for our circumstances. There are also a couple of super markets within a couple of hundred yards where you buy daily neccessities.

The only thing I would mention and its more of an observation than a complaint - some of the staff did not know any english at all. But then I could have made more of an effort and learned a few words of bulgarian.

The hotel resulted to be much better than supposed based on the comments that we read on the Review tab of the Booked.net. We were three persons in a three person room: the room was spacious, the bathroom too, everything was functioning on the level of fulfilling the basic needs. It was clean and without any smell, without any rumors; the ac functioned etc. Yes, it was true that nobody came to clean our room during two days of our stay, but they were ready to do it, if we would require it: they asked us. By the way, the breakfast was good. Yes, it is not true that 'Hotel Accord is situated 1 km from the centre of Sofia' as written in the Booked.net hotel site, because in fact it is about 3 km, but this is a common disease in many advertisements, you should always check yourself the situation of the hotels by using Google map or any other map. The parking was spacious and easy to enter and exit, especially if you would clearly make the reservation. Yes, it is not so easy to find the hotel by using the Booked.net information, address and coordinates, but in the following I try to mitigate this by the following information: Input the following coordinates in your navigator: 42.70507; 23.35570; or input the following address: the junction between Vladimir Vazov bulvard and the Baba Vida street, and you won't miss the hotel, even in the night.

The hotel administration should improve the information on the Booked.net site, as stipulated above.
